So, what exactly are these companies doing and why are they considered to be some of the most dangerous companies out there?
Monsanto is an agrochemical and agricultural biotechnology corporation and Bayer is a German multinational pharmaceutical & life sciences company.
Sounds good right? I mean they have words like agricultural biotechnology and pharmaceutical in their description. This means they are watching our back and cheering for our safety.
Wrong, this could not be further from the truth. Let me give you some details as to what exactly they are doing and how are they killing our environment and poisoning us on a daily basis.
Let’s start with Monsanto.
A big issue with this company is related to one of their products called Roundup. Roundup is used to kill weeds and is also used on different crops, especially used in GMO crops.
This toxic product contains a substance called Glyphosate, which besides killing weeds, it also kills us and causes cancer. This substance has been found in urine, in breast milk, in drinking water and rivers. It is basically everywhere.
So, you are probably thinking that this is something new and that even if they are using Glyphosate they couldn’t have been using it for a very long time, right?
Well, the official version is that they have been using it for almost five years, since 2013. But after doing some digging I found out that they have been using derivations of this compound since 1980.
Next in line is Bayer. First of all, I want to point out that this company has been around since 1863. Let that just sink in for a moment.
So what is Bayer up to these days? Well, same old same old. Just good, old school poisoning, and hiding it with words and mottos such as “Science for a better life”.
So how are they doing it? Well almost the same as Monsanto is, but they just use other compounds. For example, they are saying that we should spray our crops with their substances and we will have healthier food and also it will eradicate all pests.
What they are not telling us is that their products have in their composition a substance called Neonicotinoid.
This substance represents a huge risk to our wild bees and our honeybees, and when I say that it is a huge risk I mean that it is toxic and it is killing all our bees. Can you imagine what will happen when all of our bees die? Well, apparently Bayer can’t imagine or doesn’t seem to care, because they continue to use toxic pesticides.
So, what can be worse than these two companies that are separately trying to poison our crops and kill our bees? I’ll tell you what is worse. The merging of these two companies in a double effort to poison us.
You can access this link and see for yourself.
Don’t be fooled, please! This is poison, not pesticide. This was created to exterminate life, any life, not just bugs that consume our crops.
You can experience its toxic effects even when coming in contact with products that have been sprayed with it. It also degrades the soil over time.
These are a couple of health problems and diseases that have been connected to Glyphosate and Neonicotinoids:
- Alzheimer disease
- Birth defects
- Autism
- Brain cancer
- Breast cancer
- Digestive disease
- Chronic kidney disease
- Diabetes, heart disease
- Infertility, and the list goes on and on.
There are so much more that could be said, but you have surely understood the message by now.
You cannot deny the benefits that larger, industrial producers gain from spraying their crops with these. Fruits and legumes last longer, grow bigger, faster, and there are no pests to ruin the harvest.
While reducing the hassle of growing organic food poses a big advantage for big retailers, there is little to no concern about side effects that may affect humans and nature in general.
While it may be hard to renounce this kind of practices, the least you can do when spraying your crops is to not pick products from Bayer or Monsanto because many are labeled poisonous.
If we don’t take action against such deliberate killing practices and products, the outcome may reach a point of no return where the race for survival of our species begins.
What are your thoughts? Were you aware of this? Have you been using Bayer and Monsanto pesticides? Do you know other things related to this invisible treat?
