If Saudi Arabia, Turkey and their Sunni allies decide to join their forces and invade Syria, could anyone decide to use nuclear weapons when they are pressed against a wall?

While you are reading this article, there are thousands of military vehicles and hundreds of thousands of troops masses along the sourthern border of Turkey and the northern border of Saudi Arabia.

If the command is given, it is inevitable that the Syrians, the Iranians, Hezbollah and the Russians would fight back. This would be the start of World War 3. Moreover, the Saudis and the Turks are trying to convince the United States to be involved. However, the truth is that we do not want to be a part of this, because it could very easily become the first nuclear war in the history of the Middle East.

Maybe you didn’t know that the Saudis have nukes, because they state that they don’t. However, it is a fact that they were the ones that funded the development of Pakistan’s nuclear program. It is an open secret that the Saudis have the bomb, but no one is supposed to fuss around it.

This is exactly the reason why it was so alarming what Saudi Political analyst Dahham Al-‘Anzi stated recently:

“The kingdom has a nuclear weapon.”

ln_72.3He made this statement while saying that Saudi Arabia is engaged in an effort to “minimize the Iranian threat in the Levant and Syria.”

Even though Saudi Arabia has officially denied that it has a nuclear weapons program and it has stated that it opposes nuclear weapons in the Middle East, it has also funded a military nuclear program and received scientific assistance from the United States and Pakistan.

Would Saudi Arabia resort to using their nukes if Russia and Iran decided to start bombing the Saudi airbases? Let’s hope that they wouldn’t.

In the event of a massive ground invasion by Saudi Arabia, Turkey and their allies, it is more likely that Russia may decide to be the first to use nukes. An invasion force of hundreds of thousands of troops would outnumber the small Russian force that is already inside Syria. This means that the Russians may feel that the only thing that they can do is to use nukes.

In addition, Russia has more tactical nukes than anyone else in the world. Furthermore, there are some reports that indicate that they may even be prepared to use them in Syria.

As an example, former reporter Robert Parry says that a source has told him that the Russians have already warned Turkey that this might happen.

“A source close to Russian President Vladimir Putin told me that the Russians have warned Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan that Moscow is prepared to use tactical nuclear weapons if necessary to save their troops in the face of a Turkish-Saudi onslaught. Since Turkey is a member of NATO, any such conflict could quickly escalate into a full-scale nuclear confrontation.”

If Turkey and Saudi Arabia follow through on threats and intervene militarily to save their clients, who include Al Qaeda’s Nusra Front, from a Russian-backed Syrian government offensive, then Russia will have to decide what to do in order to protect its 20.000 military personnel inside Syria.

With all the fuss around this potential invasion in recent days, the Russians are on high alert. Moreover, they are preparing for a direct conflict with both Turkey and Saudi Arabia.

However, the Russians are taking no chances and they have put all their forces into alert mode. They have dispatched their most advanced ISR (Intelligence Surveillance Reconnaissance) aircraft. You can think of it as the kind of aircraft that you use to monitor a major ground battle. In southern Russia, the Aerospace forces have organized large-scale exercises that involve a large number of aircrafts that would be used in a war against Turkey.

If you look at this situation, it is pretty clear that the Russians are not making any threats. They are preparing for war and they might even be ready already. In addition to this, it is highly important to remember that it is quite possible that the Iranians have nuclear weapons as well.

For instance, you may want to take into consideration what retired U.S. Army Major General Paul Vallely and U.S. Air Force Lt. Col. Dennis B. Haney are saying:

“To come to our conclusion that Iran is a nuclear weapons power right now, we supplemented publicly available research, plus information from intelligence sources, including Iranian resistance groups such as the National Council of Resistance of IRAN, NCRI.”

Everyone hoped that a cease-fire could be negotiated that would at least temporarily defuse tensions in Syria. Unfortunately, there is no evidence that the shooting is going to stop. Moreover, this is going to put a huge pressure on both Saudi Arabia and Turkey to do something to rescue the Sunni militants who are on the verge of defeat. The Saudis, the Turks and their allies have poured a lot of money and resources into this war over the past 5 years. Now, they are faced with the choice of either accepting defeat or directly intervening in this conflict.

However, in order to conduct such a full-fledged ground invasion, they are going to need a justification. They cannot just simply do so. There are some that say that we could soon see a false flag attack that would provide it, so that is a hint to keep an eye on.

What is going to happen next, we cannot know for sure. However, we can smell that there is something in the air that simply is not right.
